Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Tripching (“we”, “us”) collects when you use tripching.ai, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Tripching is a price-watching service for trips you want to take; we do not provide travel ourselves.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign in or subscribe. We use it for one-time sign in links and for the price alerts you asked for.
• Your travel wishlist: the destinations you add, where you fly from, rough or exact timing, traveler count, and any target price you set. This is what tells us which prices to watch.
• Price history we record for your trips, so we can compare prices honestly over time and show you how they moved.
• Your phone number, only if you choose text alerts and verify it. We record your consent and only ever text you the alerts you turned on. Reply STOP or turn texts off in your account anytime.
• Payment status for members. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Basic usage data, such as which pages are used, to understand and improve the product. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• to watch prices for the trips on your wishlist and send the alerts you turned on;
• to run your membership and billing;
• to keep the Service secure and working;
• to understand how the product is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing texts.

Service providers we share data with

We use a small set of trusted providers to run Tripching. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — database and authentication (stores your email, wishlist, and price history).
• Stripe — membership payments and billing.
• Resend — sending your emails.
• Twilio — sending your text alerts, if you turn texts on.
• Travel data and booking partners — the flight search marketplaces our prices come from and the sites you book on. Price lookups use your route and dates, never your identity. When you open a booking link you leave Tripching, and that provider handles you under their own privacy policy.
• PostHog — privacy-focused product analytics.
• Vercel — hosting.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s storage for essential things only: keeping you signed in and remembering a trip you were adding. We do not use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, wishlist, and price history while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices

You can turn any alert off in your account, unsubscribe from emails, reply STOP to texts, and ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing office@tripching.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honour those requests.

Children

Tripching is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above when we do and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
